High End is what the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas Island resort lodge is all about, most definitely the high end of room, the high end of furnishings, and so the luxury of outstanding service.

Yes, Ive been there and liked it, but thats not the sole valid reason Im carrying on in regards to the Ritz Carlton. You see, Ive also been to 2 other high end resort resorts on St. Thomas: the Marriott Morningstar and Frenchmans Reef (which do come about for being on similar residence underneath Marriott administration, but going through various directionsjust one with the west, viewing the glittering lights of the leading town, Charlotte Amalie, and the opposite with the east, with the not so big, nondescript town of Frenchmans Reef). The Marriott has more than twice as numerous rooms as the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas, but theyre almost all of cookie-cutter size and excellent.

Theres one particular merchandise that says all of it about the quality of furnishings in the typical guest rooms at each motels: the Marriott gives you a 19-inch TV, while the Ritz Carlton provides you a 32-inch TV. Get the picture?

Compare the size of the average guest rooms: the Ritz Carlton delivers 450 sq. ft, the Marriott squeezes you into four hundred sq. ft. The Marriott presents you a small balcony about 6 ft wide, while the Ritz Carlton gives you a sweeping view with about twelve feet of balcony. What a difference!

Whats excellent about the Ritz Carlton is that it also spells out all the high end merchandise inside their a amount of different forms of suites, which have measurements of 1850 square ft and 925 ft. Sadly, I cant get hold of any data whatsoever on suites in the Marriott internet sites, including dimensions of suites or their furnishings and privileges.

Its very clear: the Marriott often is the Wal-Mart of resort inns on St. Thomas, while the Ritz Carlton is the Nordstrom.
